Ohhhhh.....here we are, already in February, and I am just now getting around to blogging my families from this past fall!
Oh well.....I love revisiting that dreamy golden light that fall brings, so it's all good :)
This session was very near and dear to my heart. We had a friend have a devastating, freak horse accident back in July. With so many uncertainties for his family, my husband (being the cowboy he is), wanted to do something to help them. We threw together some ideas, and an online auction with all the proceeds going to them was born.
Me and another very dear friend, organized everything behind the scenes, and ran the auction at all hours of the day and night for about a month give or take a few days. The pay off (for us) was when we got to tell Clay's wife, Lexie, what the auction had earned.
The ranching community is one that comes together in crisis, and doesn't question anything. They just do what needs done, until it gets done. I'm happy to report that Clay has made the most miraculous recovery thanks to our Father's healing hands. And is well on his way back to his cowboy-ing days.
This session is one I donated for his auction, and this cute little family ran the bid up and won it! It was such a special documentation for me, and one I'll never forget <3 I seriously love to help others in need!
